Spyrix Free Keylogger is offered for free, which makes it one of the few tools of its kind that don’t have a price tag attached. This fact actually raised my interest, and I was really keen to discover the powerful yet free keylogger that Spyrix Free Keylogger claimed to be. So, when I discovered it, I wasn’t really satisfied with what I had. It’s indeed free, but it lacks those important features and basic functions that make or break a keylogger. In other words, it’s free, but not powerful, nor handy, and the main reason for this conclusion is the fact that it is short for the capability of being run stealthy, in a complete invisibility mode.
Upgrading to the non-free Spyrix Personal Monitor application is required, if you want to use this feature. That’s quite disappointing, as not being able to run a keylogger stealthily contradicts with its main purpose. A spying tool is not exactly a good spying tool if anyone can see it. Many other features like keywords alerts, URL monitoring, etc. are also available only with the paid Spyrix Personal Monitor.
Cutting long story short, though it comes in a nice package and with a promising presentation, I can’t see any situation where Spyrix Free Keylogger could be actually useful, as it is always displayed in the system tray, in the list of running processes from the “Task Manager”, in the Start menu, etc., and it would be quite impossible to spy on anyone with such an obtrusive tool.
